LaGuardia Community College Welcomes Benjamin E. Rohdin as Vice President for Enrollment Management

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY (March 14, 2023)LaGuardia Community College/CUNY announced the hiring of Benjamin E. Rohdin as Vice President for Enrollment Management, effective March 20, 2023.

“We are excited to welcome Benjamin Rohdin to our college community,” said Kenneth Adams, President of LaGuardia Community College. “He brings the knowledge, skills, and expertise to lead LaGuardia’s post-pandemic enrollment recovery.”

“I could not be more excited to join the LaGuardia community,” Rohdin said. “I look forward to being able to contribute to the college’s growth and success.”

As Vice President for Enrollment Management, Rohdin will serve on the President’s Cabinet and engage with Communications and External Affairs and departments across the college to collaborate on marketing, outreach, and recruitment efforts to rebuild enrollment, including initiatives to attract adult learners, international students, veterans, and students in pre-college and workforce training programs in the ACE Division. Rohdin will work to ensure that offices within Enrollment Management, including Recruitment, Admissions, Bursar, and Financial Aid are seamlessly coordinated and provide top-shelf customer service to our students.

Prior to joining LaGuardia, Rohdin served as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success and Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success with the New Jersey City University. Rohdin’s previous experience also included serving as Assistant Provost for Enrollment Planning, Research, and Special Programs and as Associate Dean for Academic Programs with Rutgers University, School of Criminal Justice; and Assistant Provost for Special and Professional Programs Executive Director of Academic Affairs with John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Rohdin has a B.S. in Computer Science from Fordham University and an M.P.A. in Public Administration Executive Program from Baruch College.
