As the Environmental Health and Safety department continues to evaluate, assist, and implement response protocols and procedure related to occupational safety and health on campus. It is important, during this pandemic, that all employees stay informed of and follow guidance from relevant Federal, State and Local agencies as well as CUNY and LAGCC to help in slow the spread of COVID-19. It is highly recommended that the College Community familiarize themselves with the College’s protocols and procedures by frequently visiting the CUNY and LAGCC COVID-19 pages. The intent of this EHS office COVID-19 site is to share EHS Compliance specific COVID-19 information.
Each member of the community plays a critical role in preventing the spread of COVID-19. All faculty, staff, and students must commit to following health and safety guidelines and setting an example for their peers. New York State, New York City, and public health officials may need to adjust their guidelines, procedures, and recommendations based on the status of COVID-19 spread in our region, the guidelines below may be updated regularly.
