    A. Apply for graduation by registering for “Intent to Graduate” (course code GRD000) once you have registered for your last course during your last semester of attendance. Registering for graduation is required to trigger the Registrar’s evaluation of your record. Without this official evaluation you cannot graduate

    Virtual Celebration

    A. Traditional commencement ceremonies have been postponed across CUNY for Spring 2021, but that does not change our desire to celebrate your accomplishments and to mark this special occasion. On Tuesday, June 17, 2021, we invite you, your family and friends to tune in to a virtual celebration on our website.

These changes and circumstances do not change the date of your graduation – diplomas will reflect the proper date that degree requirements were completed.

Prior to the ceremony, you can create an official slide that can be customized with your photo and a personal message, and which can be downloaded and shared on social media, through MarchingOrder. Watch your LaGuardia inbox for an email with the subject line "Create Your Graduation Slide" for more information about creating your slide! (The deadline is Monday, June 7.)
